 Haiti is the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere with 80% unemployment and a population of over 8 million, most of whom are living in extreme poverty. Your child lives in Bayonnais, a rural area in the mountains with 80,000 people and located 5 hours from the capital of Port au Prince. There are few public schools, no health clinic, no electricity, and no running water in Bayonnais.  Your child will attend the OFCB Ministries School and your monthly support will allow us to make significant, sustainable contributions for the benefit of your child and the community. OFCB, founded 14 years ago, now has 1600 students in K-13, and since 2003 has been providing scholarships for gifted students to attend university in Port au Prince.
